2016 Year End Newsletter

                                                                                     December 9, 2016
Dear Partners,

John Dawson says in his book "Taking The Cities For God":

“A nation is a geographical and political alliance among its major cities.  The cities are the mind and heart of the nation, the place where the national myth is largely enshrined…As we dream of discipling nations, we must firmly grasp the reality of these nations.  That means the Gospel must transform the spiritual, philosophical and physical life of a nation’s cities.”

May God’s grace and blessings be with you this year and the years to come!   We have recently traveled to Guangzhou & Beijing and networked with a few house group networks there. We will be training over 80 bi-vocational and Business As Ministry workers and then send them to the minority group areas in the Western and Northwestern regions of China. The training will begin in December 2016 until 2017 and they will be held separately in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou., and Shenzhen.

The PAC RIM Leadership Institute staff are conducting young adult leadership workshops and a Mental Focus Coaching Workshop in Shenzhen & Guangzhou towards a group of young adults from 18 to 40 years old to enhance their career planning and leadership skills. We have offered them several seminars and workshops in our conference room this year so that they can network with each other. In 2017, these workshops will be held in the cities of Shanghai and Beijing.

We are planning to send our first couples to Thailand next year. Timothy was a graduate from our MBS seminary in Guangzhou more then a decade ago. He was recently ordained in Hong Kong. Hopefully, our organization will be able to finish training him and his wife cross-cultural skills and raise enough support to send them to Thailand next year. By the end of 2017, another family will be recruited and sent to southeast Asia. The above two projects we will need to raise USD 30,000 = HKD 232,500 this fiscal year for training, travel expenses, and ministry workers sending purposes.

An internet publishing project Dawn of Asia Press has been started at early 2016. People can read our Dawn of Asia Magazine online and download training materials. Also, they can purchase our books online. Also, an online Theological program is under construction on this same website. Please check out our different programs as they are going online this winter.   We are projecting our current deficit by the end of December 2016 will be USD 10,000. We rely on your support and donations for our ministry. publishing and research effort for China.

May God bless you and give you the grace to move forward in peace and insight in the forth coming year!

Blessings and Best Regards,
